Closing Guantanamo

Dick Cheney thinks that some of the Guantanamo detainees already released were "treated too leniently".
So let's see, we lock someone up for 4 or 5 years, deprive them from sleep for weeks at a time, torture them, do not allow access to legal council and then when we release them we honestly expect them to be grateful. Only a moron would believe that anyone treated in such a way would not re-join some sort of anti-American group.
President Obama is 100% correct when he says that Guantanamo is a prime recruiting ground for terrorists. That is pure common sense.
It is this short-sightedness of Dick Cheney and his 'ilk' that have got us into the mess that we find ourselves in, as a country, today.
